Local-First & Data Sovereignty
We believe your data belongs to you. PromptCockpit is built on a strict data sovereignty principle:
We do NOT train any AI models on your prompts, code snippets, or any other user-generated content. Your private prompt library and code snippets remain exclusively yours.
All user data is securely stored in a PostgreSQL database powered by Supabase, with Row Level Security (RLS) enabled. This ensures that only you can access your own data at the database level. No other user, and no member of our team, can read your prompts or snippets.
What Data We Collect
Account Data: When you sign up, we collect your email address and authentication credentials (managed securely via Supabase Auth). This is the minimum data required to provide you with a personalized experience.
User-Generated Content: The prompts, folders, and code snippets you create within PromptCockpit. This data is stored exclusively for your use and is never shared with third parties.
Usage Analytics: We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (page views, performance metrics). This data cannot be used to identify individual users and is used solely to improve the service.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data exclusively to provide, maintain, and improve the PromptCockpit service. Specifically:
To authenticate your identity and provide access to your account. To store and serve your prompts, folders, and code snippets. To analyze aggregated, anonymous usage patterns to improve the product. We will never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure, which uses enterprise-grade PostgreSQL databases with encryption at rest and in transit. Row Level Security (RLS) policies enforce strict data isolation between users at the database level.
Data Export & Portability
PromptCockpit provides a 1-click full JSON export feature. You can download all your data at any time, ensuring complete data portability and zero vendor lock-in.
Data Deletion
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time. Upon account deletion, all your prompts, folders, code snippets, and personal information will be permanently removed from our databases.
Cookies
PromptCockpit uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
Third-Party Services
Supabase: Database hosting and authentication. Subject to the Supabase Privacy Policy.
Vercel: Hosting and analytics. Subject to the Vercel Privacy Policy.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing activities. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@promptcockpit.com.
